All Garden Service rates include vehicle, labour, tools, specialized equipment, access, and full public liability insurance.

On-site Working hours are typically: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm (or 8:30am - 4:30pm where better suited to the customer and site), to be discussed and agreed in advance.

Saturday working hours are typically 8:30am - 1:00pm and appointments are available by prior arrangement. Any extended or out-of-hours work surcharge is discussed and agreed in advance.

• Height Surcharge - Work involving trimming or pruning trees and hedges above 3 metres may require additional safety measures, access equipment, and slower working speeds. A working-at-height surcharge may apply depending on size, quantity, access and complexity, typically a flat one-off cost per visit of £45-£95 — this will be assessed and confirmed during the free site survey.

OUTDOOR Works Seasonal Limitations & Client Consent:

Due to colder temperatures and high humidity during late autumn and winter, some services such as paint/stain application and pruning may be delayed or deemed unsuitable. This is to ensure material integrity and long-term durability.

TGD follows industry standards and horticultural best practices and will advise clients accordingly. If a client insists on proceeding against this advice, we require written confirmation acknowledging that warranties and guarantees may be void based on manufacturer guidance or professional recommendations.

Always refer to product data sheets (e.g., timber coatings) and horticultural advisories. We reserve the right to postpone work due to environmental conditions or material handling risks.

INDOOR Works, Seasonal Limitations & Client Consent:

Where possible, the scope of work and expected time are agreed in advance. Materials and specialist items are charged separately unless otherwise agreed. Let us know whether e.g. paint is to be sourced by TGD.

Indoor works is generally suitable year-round and planned to minimise disruption and access arrangements.

All bespoke work is priced after a site visit and considers scope, materials, access, design requirements, product specifications, and any specialist labour or equipment. We typically undertake design-led projects ranging from £5,000 to £30,000, ensuring each scheme is planned and delivered to a high standard.

OUR PROCESS

Every project follows a structured progression from initial understanding through to design development and construction readiness. The aim is to ensure clarity, confident decision-making, and a garden that reflects both lifestyle needs and long-term practicality.

INITIAL MEETING

We begin with an on-site meeting to understand how you want to use the space, explore opportunities, and identify any immediate constraints.

This conversation helps determine the appropriate level of involvement and whether the project is best approached as improvement works, phased development, or a full design and build process.

DESIGN PHASE 1 — FEASIBILITY & SITE ASSESSMENT

Design Phase 1 establishes a clear understanding of the site and project context.

This includes access considerations, levels and thresholds, boundaries, services awareness, planning context, sequencing sensitivities, and overall project feasibility.

Where relevant, measured referencing and survey information are incorporated, particularly where extensions, structural interfaces, or level relationships influence the garden layout.

The outcome is a structured feasibility position that confirms constraints, identifies information gaps, and supports progression into design with confidence.

DESIGN PHASE 2 — CONCEPT DESIGN

Design Phase 2 develops the spatial concept for the garden.

Layout structure, zoning, circulation, material direction, and planting character are explored and refined into a cohesive proposal aligned with the brief and site realities.

Concept presentation and a defined revision stage allow feedback to be incorporated while maintaining clarity of direction.

DESIGN VISUALISATION

Design ideas may be communicated through scaled 2D drawings and, where appropriate, simple 3D visuals to support spatial understanding and confident decision-making.

The level of visual detail is proportionate to the project and intended to clarify layout, proportions, and material relationships.

Additional visual references or rendered views may be developed where helpful to illustrate key areas of the design.

DESIGN PHASE 3 - DESIGN DEVELOPMENT & BUILD READINESS

Following concept agreement, the design is refined to support construction clarity.

This stage considers level relationships, material interfaces, service coordination awareness, access sequencing, and practical build implications so that the project can be priced and delivered with reduced uncertainty.

Refined drawings and visual references may be used where helpful to communicate important construction relationships and material intent.

CONSTRUCTION & DELIVERY

Where TGD proceeds with construction, the design transitions into coordinated delivery, ensuring sequencing, logistics, and detailing align with the agreed design intent.

AFTERCARE & ONGOING CARE

Gardens evolve over time. Guidance can be provided on planting establishment, maintenance approaches, and future improvements so the space continues to mature in line with the original design intent.

Throughout each stage, the focus remains on thoughtful planning, sequencing awareness, and creating outdoor spaces that feel natural, functional, and enduring.

Exterior surface cleaning to refresh and restore hard surfaces around your property.

Suitable for patios, pathways, driveways, stonework, walls, steps, and outdoor surfaces where a build-up of dirt, algae, moss, or debris has occurred.

 IMPORTANT NOTES

Pressure washing is not suitable for all surfaces. TGD will advise where a gentler cleaning approach may be more appropriate.

Outdoor Seasonal Limitations & Client Consent may apply depending on weather conditions, drainage, access, water supply, and existing surface condition.

Residential green waste removal following:

Green waste is removed and disposed of responsibly at licensed facilities.

IMPORTANT NOTES

Where possible, existing onsite garden waste bins may be utilised first before additional waste removal arrangements are discussed.

Soil, rubble, turf, timber, mixed waste, and excessively wet material are handled separately due to weight and disposal requirements.

Larger clearances or projects may require skip arrangements depending on waste volume and access.

Clients may also choose to make their own waste removal arrangements where preferred.

• Areas outside TGD’s listed locations may still be available by arrangement depending on project scope and scheduling
